Ms Lydia Jenkins is a volunteer working with AAHCSBC helping to expand community-wide collaborative efforts that can be effective in the development of the society’s heritage. She also assists in marketing strategies and public relations activities, planning, developing and implementing outreach programs that can help connect friends, families, and new associates with their past, present and future. She is very passionate about her work in the preservation of African American history in the region. Her desire is to maintain and build upon what the organization have accomplished, while continually promoting a positive image. She states that the organization must have responsibility to the community and membership to comply with regulations, legal and financial as we continue to meet our African American historical objective.
